<h3>Step 1: Setup Timer</h3>
<p>Set a timer for 25 minutes. This will mark the length of one Pomodoro session, during which you should work with full focus on your task.</p>

<h3>Step 2: Work Intensely</h3>
<p>Begin working on your task until the timer goes off. Eliminate all distractions and focus solely on the task at hand for the entire duration.</p>

<h3>Step 3: Take Break</h3>
<p>When the timer rings, take a short break of 5 minutes. Step away from your work, stretch, walk around, or do something relaxing, but avoid engaging in other work.</p>

<h3>Step 4: Record Progress</h3>
<p>After each Pomodoro, mark your progress with a checkmark on a piece of paper or in a tracking app. This provides a visual representation of your accomplished work segments.</p>

<h3>Step 5: Repeat Cycles</h3>
<p>Repeat the Pomodoro cycles (work session followed by a break) three more times, completing a set of four Pomodoros before taking a longer break.</p>

<p>After completing four Pomodoros, take a longer break of 15 to 30 minutes. This helps to recover and maintain high levels of mental performance for subsequent work sessions.</p>

<p>Use a simple kitchen timer, a smartphone app, or a computer application. Choose a tool that you find easy to set up and start without causing distraction.</p>

<h3>Task Size</h3>
<p>If a task is too big to be completed in one Pomodoro session, break it down into smaller, actionable steps. Conversely, combine smaller tasks that can be completed in the same session.</p>

<h3>Interruptions</h3>
<p>If an interruption occurs during a Pomodoro, either postpone it until the break or, if urgent, reset the Pomodoro after dealing with the interruption.</p>

<h3>Adaptation</h3>
<p>Adjust the length of Pomodoros and breaks to better suit your personal concentration span and the nature of your task. Some may find slightly longer or shorter Pomodoros more effective.</p>
